Flight Operations Group (FOG)

The Flight Operations Group (FOG) consists of 10 representatives from Member Airlines. FOG is responsible for developing policies, standards and recommendations on all aspects of safe and efficient flight operations for consideration by the IATA Operations Committee (OPC) . 

FOG includes four task forces:

The FOG Task Forces comprise representatives from airlines, equipment manufacturers and regulators. They meet once or twice annually to address issues in their respective fields of interest.

Performance Input Data

The  Airport and Obstacle Database (AODB) site includes airport and runway obstacle data and facilitates the flight operations information exchange between airlines to improve operational efficiency and safety. It is a continuously expanding library.

FOG Information Exchange (FOG IE)

FOG IE enables FOG members to quickly and confidentially exchange information on lessons learned and corrective measures taken for particular situations. It is a very effective way of improving airline efficiency. To join,  please  contact us.
