Cargo Executive Committee

What it does

Maintains liaison with the Cargo Traffic conferences and manages industry issues and work plans on behalf of the Cargo Committee.

How it works

The Cargo Executive Committee meets via teleconference between Cargo Committee meetings. Its seven members are elected by and from the Cargo Committee.

Who looks after it

The Cargo Committee Chairman is also Chairman of the Cargo Executive Committee.

Meetings

• The Chairman of the Cargo Executive Committee, as required, shall schedule meetings provided a minimum of one meetings is held between the twice-yearly regular meetings of the Cargo Committee.
• Meeting shall normally take place by teleconference or videoconference.
• Three members of the Cargo Executive Committee shall constitute a quorum.
• Agreement on action, decisions or recommendations of the Cargo Committee shall be by consensus.
• Reports of Cargo Executive Committee actions will be approved by the Chairman and presented to Cargo Committee members at every Cargo Committee meeting.
• The Chairman, in consultation with the Secretary, may invite observers to attend Cargo Executive Committee meetings.
