Joint Passenger Ticketing Committee (JPTC)

The Ticketing Committee held jointly with the ATA develops and maintains standards and procedures related to interline ticket forms. The Committee is responsible for the development of standards for manual and automated tickets and for publishing these standards as Resolutions and Recommended Practices. Airline membership consists of experts responsible for the development of ticket forms and ticketing procedures. Most of the Committee's activity now focuses on standards for 100 percent electronic ticketing and is developing new standards for Electronic Miscellaneous Documents. IATA Members and Strategic Partners are welcome to join. 

Supplying Mandatory Ticket and Other Important Notices - Revised June 2007

It is mandatory that customers are provided with ticket notices which may or may not be present as part of the ticket set. IATA has developed a template on A4 size piece of paper of generic ticket notices in English which conform to the requirements of Resolution 724 Passenger Ticket - Notices and Conditions of Contract together with all other mandatory ticket notices and some additional information.It conforms to all the requirements of the resolutions including font size and style. It is available for free download by clicking on Conditions of Contract and Other Important Notices  This notice incorporates the latest revisions. Any comments concerning the provision of Ticket Notices in this manner should be directed to the Secretariat.

Interline Electronic Ticketing Table of Bilaterals

The Latest Interline Electronic Ticketing Table is published once monthly when new IET Bilaterals have been announced. New deployments should be advised to mita@iata.org.
