2009/03/31 Incorrect date on remittance notice for period 01MAR 2009 sales!
To all Agents in Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Norway. Remittance Notices for 01MAR Sales has incorrect date. The correct date for this remittance is 31st March (today!) and money should be available accordingly. For Agents in Norway that have not had money available this might mean that direct debit has not taken place and it is then important to make a manual payment as soon as possible. For information on how to do this, please log a case.
2008/12/23 BSP Service centre closes in January 2009
On 1 JUN 2008 the travel industry was reformed by a removal of a paper ticket from the BSP processes worldwide. The volume of refunded and reissued paper tickets sent by the agents to BSP for sorting to individual airlines has diminished to the size that no longer motivates BSP interaction in the process. Therefore as of Period 1 January 2009 BSP will close current facilities and Travel Agents are now requested to send the remaining paper coupons recovered from Passengers when refunding and reissuing paper tickets directly to the airlines. A list of Airline addresses where to send the refunded coupons can be found under useful information

Actions requested by all Agents and Airlines in BSP Nordic & Baltic
The deadline for 100% e-ticket and the end for paper tickets 31st May 2008 is approaching fast. Following actions are urgently requested by Agents and Airlines active in BSP Nordic & Baltic.
AGENTS: IATA is performing an activity to collect all paper tickets after 31st May. The first part of this is for Agents to log in to our distributors site and confirm pick-up address and contact details. Information on how to do this and the link to enter is found in BSPlink. Instructions are found on the front page after logging in to BSPlink.
Failure to do this for an Agent might result in massive blacklisting of tickets or default action with closed ticketing. For any queries please contact info.se@iata.org
AIRLINES: The IATA Agents in the region need your procedures valid after the deadline 31st May. How shall they issue tickets on your Airline? Which electronic interline agreements do you have? Will you make use of complementing products vMPD or vMCO?
This should be communicated to the Agent community and IATA can help you do this by uploading your instruction to BSPlink, available for all Agents. For doing this or other questions, please contact info.se@iata.org
