Highlights

  • IATA Regional office established in Amman in 1991 and serves 21 countries.
  • BSP Jordan serves  28 participating airlines and 173 agents.
  • One Common-Use Self-Service (CUSS) implemented at the Queen Alia Int'l Airport in December 2006.
  • Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) operations started in Amman in June 2006.

IATA Jordan is also actively supporting the Simplifying the Business initiative to find cost reduction possibilities in their complex process in five focus areas, the implementation of 100% e-ticketing by 31 May 2008 is critical in this initiative.
