IATA China is actively supporting the Simplifying the Business initiative to find cost reductions in complex processes.

Highlights and news from IATA Mainland China,  below are featured some of our achievements.

Fuel efficiency

  • Entry and Exit Points MORIT and SADLI opened for flexible use for cross polar operations, this came into effect as of 04 July 2007
  • Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) Implemented in China as of the November 2007
  • New Routes opened
  • W70 from Haiou to Nanning within China
  • G221 from Sanya, China to Da Nan, Vietnam
  • R471 from Kunning, China to Hanoi, Vietnam
  • W85 from Europe, to Shanghai, China

The above activities have resulted in fuel conservation and reduction in CO2 emissions for airlines.
