IATA Training is available in the Asia Pacific region through a growing network of training partners. Myanmar Aviation Centre and Australia’s First Class Education Group joined our network of Authorized Training Centers (ATC) while SATS Coolport Academy has been appointed as a Regional Training Partner (RTP) in Singapore.
Myanmar Aviation Centre (MAC) became an IATA ATC last year, offering IATA Training and Development Institute (ITDI) courses in airline management, cargo, and travel & tourism. MAC has become the driving force in enhancing the quality of trained personnel which are in high demand as Myanmar aviation develops.
MAC’s IATA Certificates and Diplomas Award Ceremony in Yangon on 23 March 2015
Australia’s First Class Education Group (FCEG) is the latest training partner to join the IATA ATC network. FCEG was established in 2014 and is part of the Flight Centre Travel Group. They plan to provide all IATA International Travel and Tourism Training Program courses in Australia, with plans for rapid expansion into other Asia Pacific markets as well.
As an RTP, SATS Coolport Academy offers IATA certified courses in temperature-controlled cargo operations and temperature-controlled container handling. This will ensure that there will be sufficient trained and qualified talent in Singapore to support the strong growth of the pharmaceutical handling segment of the air cargo industry.
Launch Ceremony of SATS Coolport Academy on 15 April 2015
ITDI trains more than 95,000 professionals and students each year. Our 200+ courses are developed around IATA's areas of expertise and commitment to promoting industry standards worldwide.
