IATA, together with our host, Kenya Airways, held the IATA Regional Aviation Forum that took place on 17th of September 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya. 

The event was convened under the theme “Aviation Connecting & Enriching Africa” and brought together distinguished aviation decision makers and influencers, representing Governments, regulatory agencies, airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, tourism organizations, international and regional organizations, aviation suppliers and aircraft manufacturers from Africa, the Middle East and globally.  

The Hon. Ms. Esther Koimett, Principal Secretary, State Department for Transport of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. Michael Joseph, Chairman, Kenya Airways, Mr. Sebastian Mikosz, Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Airways and Mr. Muhammad Ali Albakri, IATA’s Regional Vice President for Africa & Middle East, were present at the event along other senior IATA executives and aviation industry experts.
