Through a series of technical and managerial courses, you will acquire the knowledge and develop the skills required to face the ever-evolving challenges in the aviation industry. The courses will prepare you, both at the technical and managerial levels necessary, to be effective in an Airline Flight Operations Office.

What you will learn

Upon completion of this diploma you will be able to:

  • Apply your expertise and theoretical knowledge to attempt the written and/or oral exam necessary to successfully pass the national requirements to meet Phase 1 Flight Dispatcher/Flight Operations Officer certification.
  • Demonstrate practical expertise to help meet part of Phase 2 Flight Dispatcher/FOO certification requirements.

Candidates must complete 4 Required courses within three years.

A passing mark of 70% is required on all assignments and exams. A special distinction is awarded to candidates who obtain a distinction in all, or all but one, of all course exams and assignments that make up this Diploma.

Flight Dispatch/Flight Operations Officer Certification
Jeppesen has a long and proven track record in providing dispatcher certification training, helping to prepare flight dispatchers worldwide to take the written, oral, and practical exams leading to issuance of an aircraft dispatcher license. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will have the background necessary to earn the Federal Aviation Authority Dispatcher Certificate, or a license issued through another national civil aviation authority. This Flight Dispatch/Flight Operations Officer Certification course will hereby cover the theoretical elements, which are also prescribed in Doc 7192 AN 857 Part D3.

Simulated Practical Dispatch Training
Jeppesen’s Simulated Practical Dispatch Training program is an advanced training program aimed at substituting some of the required time required for On-Job-Training (OJT) in Doc 7192 AN 857 Part D3.
