A focused course for existing professionals in the field of load control. Refresh your formal knowledge on theories and principles of weight and balance as per the standard IATA Design Manual and Automated Load Sheet.

Course format

Prerequisites

  • Participants must have at least two years experience in Load Control process and have prior knowledge of airport layouts, operations and facilities
  • Recommended level is Intermediate.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

  • Last Minute Changes
  • Load planning effects on ramp handling (e.g. Tailtip risks)
  • Refreshing Load Control processes

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
