Alternative Fuel Symposium

​​​​​​​The IATA Alternative Fuel Symposium provides a platform for industry professionals to interact with each other and be informed about the latest developments and insights from the market leaders in sustainable aviation fuel.

The 4th Alternative Fuel Symposium (AFS) was organized in conjunction with the IATA Aviation Fuel Forum in Singapore on 15-16 November 2018.

This year's Alternative Fuel Symposium took place in Singapore on 15-16 November 2018.

Following immediately from the IATA Fuel Forum, the Alternative Fuel Symposium brought together both fuel procurement, and environmental specialists from airlines – an essential ingredient for striking off-take agreements. The 2017 event brought together more than 40 individual airlines and over 20 producers and suppliers.
