Preparation for the 14th Maintenance Cost Conference is underway. This airline-centric event addresses the latest issues relating to maintenance costs and airlines’ ongoing efforts to streamline, rationalize and control them.
On top of industry experts presenting real-life case studies – both from airlines and other industry stakeholders – MCC provides a forum to discuss issues and learn from the experience of industry peers. Whether through formal sessions or informal networking, MCC is the place where the industry shares its knowledge.
We’re busy booking speakers and panelists for MCC 2018 in Atlanta, where we intend to look at:

Newly renovated, the Twelve Atlantic Station is right in the middle of the award-winning urban re-development of Atlantic Station. This most cosmopolitan of Atlanta neighborhoods is like a town within the city, combining apartments and townhouses with offices, shopping, dining and cultural attractions, in a pedestrianized setting around a central park. Favored by a young, hip and diverse population, it offers popular big name stores and specialty boutiques, sidewalk cafes, fine restaurants and casual dining, all within easy walking distance of the hotel.
The Twelve Atlantic Station itself offers stylish urban suites with bedrooms, living and dining areas, and kitchens, in a chic, contemporary décor. This home-away-from-home experience is fused with boutique hotel sophistication and upscale concierge services. With everything you need onsite or on its doorstep, it is also just a short automobile ride from all downtown attractions.
Atlanta is all these things. Founded as the literal end of the railroad line in the first half of the 19th century, the city was completely razed by fire during the Civil War. It rose from the ashes (taking the Phoenix as its symbol) to become the ninth largest city in the USA, and one of the fastest-growing today. The population of 5.7 million (in the Atlanta metropolitan area) continues to gain new additions from all over the US and the world, who come for work and to study in one of the 30+ colleges and universities Atlanta boasts. The multicultural influences they bring blend with rich history and modern infrastructure in a vibrant, cosmopolitan city.
Atlanta's economy provides much to attract new workers. With its origins in the railroad, its present-day is still in logistics. It is the headquarters of package delivery giant UPS, and has been the headquarters of Delta Airlines since 1941, which has certainly contributed to making Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport the busiest in the world by both passenger and air traffic. The airport serves over 150 US destinations and more than 75 international destinations in 50 countries, with over 2,500 arrivals and departures daily.
From end-of-the-line to end-of-the-world and everything in between, including past and present sports, iconic corporations, the arts, nature, food and history, Atlanta has something for everyone.
