2 levels of Environmental Sustainability Diploma!
We have designed three levels of diploma, to help you start or develop your professional career in environmental sustainability. Diplomas can be taken in a sequence or on their own depending on the level of expertise needed.
The range of topics varies from how to design a sustainability strategy to sustainable alternative fuels, carbon markets and environmental management systems. You will have the chance to customize your diploma at the Practitioner and Expert level, by choosing the right electives for you and your career path.
Environmental Sustainability Champion Diploma
4 courses to be completed in 2 years
This diploma is a blend of courses to help you to start on your road to environmental sustainability. They will help you gain a full understanding of the challenges that aviation is facing, ranging from carbon emissions, human and wildlife trafficking, including the public perception of aviation and greenwashing.
Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:
- Describe the main environmental challenges facing aviation
- Identify strategies to tackle various environmental risks
- Explain climate change and the global impact of air transport
- Analyze and describe airlines’ initiatives, set to address the misperception of aviation and the environment
Environmental Sustainability Practitioner Diploma
4 courses to be completed in 2 years
This diploma program helps strengthen your knowledge of environmental sustainability by allowing you to work on various business cases and receive guidance and feedback from our selected instructors. You will learn through a hands-on course how to design a sustainability strategy, explore more about environmental management systems and gain a good understanding of how carbon markets work.
Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:
- Develop robust plans to address the most significant environmental aspects facing the aviation industry
- Analyze various measures your company can implement on its way to environmental sustainability
- Identify new risks, potential significant impacts and existing environmental initiatives and their integration into an environmental management system (EMS)
- Create a roadmap on how to communicate and align internally
