About

Examine technical aspects of how to ship infectious substances by air (Division 6.2 - Categories A & B), and how to promote safe and efficient handling practices in the workplace.

Important Note:

The 5th edition of the Infectious Substances Shipping Guidelines will be released in December 2018. If you have purchased the course before its release in December 2018 and want to take the exam after January 2019, please ensure that you are familiar with the updated content of the DGR Manual 60th edition. You can find detailed information in the Significant Changes to the 60th Edition (pdf).

Course format

This course is available in textbook format. Enrol at an Authorized Training Center or Accredited Training School to study these materials with the help of a local trainer, or alternatively you can choose to study these materials on your own.
  • This course requires approximately 8-10 hours of study to be completed in 12 months from the purchase date (enrollment validity). After the enrollment validity expires, the users will not have access to the course content and will not be able to take the exam.
  • Student performance will be based on an examination. Please refer to the Exam Information below for more details.
