ISAGO for Auditors (Classroom, 4 days)

The IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) program is based on standards developed by and for the industry to improve safety and reduce ground accidents and injuries.

A requirement for all IATA member auditors, this course covers the audit process specific to ISAGO as well as its standards and recommended practices.

Available as: Classroom & In-Company course
Duration: 4 days (32 hours)
Recommended level: Professional and Management
Prerequisites: Participants should be qualified airline quality auditors and have recommendation from their employer

What you will learn

Upon completing this course you will be able to:

  • Conduct an ISAGO station audit using the latest standards and requirements for load control, passenger handling, baggage handling, aircraft handling and loading, aircraft ground movement, cargo and mail handling
  • Reference the latest ISAGO manuals: GOPM, IRM, GOSM and Q5
  • Follow audit procedures as required by the ISAGO program
  • Use the electronic audit system, Q5, for on-site audits

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
