About

IATA's Live Animals Regulations course will teach you how to transport live animals by air safely, in the correct container and with the correct documentation. Learn about container requirements, documentation requirements, and awareness of animals’ health. Learn how to comply with standards and international welfare regulations.

The successful application of the IATA Live Animals Regulations for the transport of live animals by air and the achievement of the provisions of international legislation regarding animal welfare during transport are greatly dependent on how well personnel are trained.

Important Note: A new training edition of the Live Animal Regulations (LAR) will be released on March 1st, 2017. The training book and the online exam are based on the LAR 43rd edition.

Students who have the old edition are kindly requested to complete the exam before the change on March 31st, 12 pm (EST). Students who wish to complete the exam at a later stage are solely responsible to acquire the LAR 43rd edition for their exam.
