Designed for young leaders
The industry recognized in March 2013, during the last World Cargo Symposium, that there is an urgent need to invest in people, attract and develop young talent and promote gender diversity.
The Future Air Cargo Executive (FACE) program is a three-pillar strategy to promote executive management development among rising stars in air cargo and logistics.
The executive summit to retain talents
IATA organized the first Future Air Cargo Executive Summit (FACES) in March 2013 to highlight the important role young leadership plays in the future growth of the air cargo industry.
Twenty-four promising talents participated in the first FACES edition. The summit was a punchy half-a-day session mixing “spiritual guidance”, panel discussions, interactive sessions and testimonials.
After the success of the first summit, the air cargo industry encouraged IATA to organize the next edition of FACES at the next World Cargo Symposium in 2014.
In addition, the FACE Program aspires to strengthen the links with Universities and students. Building a database of “Speakers for U” that can share their professional experience, transmit their passion for air cargo and inspire students is a key element to attract new blood to our industry.
