Safety Data Management and Analysis
IATA Safety Data Management and Analysis activities are a part of IATA's revised Six-point Safety Strategy and are available via the Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) program.
The GADM program provides IATA members and other eligible industry organizations with a wealth of information and acts as a gateway to the multiple sources and areas of aircraft operation.
IATA's GADM program now includes information from over 470 different organizations.
We are currently working on some changes and enhancements to our databases. Watch the video to below to find out more.
Extensive data collection
Through GADM participation, you could have access to:
- Industry accident/incident data and analysis as well as operational reports (pilot and flight attendant reports) captured in the Safety Trend Evaluation, Analysis & Data Exchange System (STEADES) database and annually published in the
IATA Safety Report
- Aircraft ground damage reports and analysis in a new Ground Damage Database (GDDB)
- Collated Flight Data Analysis (Flight Data Connect) information in a global Flight Data eXchange (FDX)
- Reviews of IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and of IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) findings
