IATA Airline Baggage ID

The Baggage Identification Chart, often found at lost baggage counters, is the comprehensive list of baggage types, colour and various descriptive elements as described in the Passenger Services Conference Resolutions Manual (PSCRM).

 

Folder

The plasticized folder comprises four pages, each measuring 8.75 x 11.5 inches (22.2 x 29.2 cm).

 

Poster

The large poster, measuring 22 x 28 inches (55.8 x 71.1 cm).

 

Digital 

The digital version, available on the IATA Bookshelf for use on portal display screens.

 

Premium License

Premium License includes image files of luggage types and descriptive elements, suitable for use in mobile applications or self-service devices.

 

Important:

The 2027 Baggage Identification Chart incorporates updates to the standards in accordance with PSCRM Resolution 743b – Attachment A. It will be available for sale in 2026 and will become effective from 01 June 2027.
