Cargo iQ Appoints New Board Leaders
Cargo iQ has appointed new leaders to its Board at the end of June, with a focus on faster standards creation and implementation. Kerstin Strauss, the former Vice Chair of the board and Vice President of Global Air Logistics Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, has been named the new Chair of the Board. Rutger-Jan (RJ) Pegels, Director of Performance Management & Analytics at KLM Cargo, has been appointed as Vice Chair.
Outcomes of the 7th IATA ONE Record Hackathon
During the weekend of 23-25 June 2023, the 7th IATA ONE Record Hackathon was held in Frankfurt, hosted by Lufthansa Cargo at their Seeheim conference center. What an incredible three days together with 21 teams taking part in the 28-hour coding experience. The teams were asked to build solutions to enhance cargo operations and services using the IATA ONE Record data-sharing standard and to pitch their ideas to a team of industry experts and mentors.
Outcomes of the 32nd CNS Partnership Conference
The 32nd CNS Partnership Conference took place in early June. Nearly 800 delegates gathered in Aventura, Florida for this event. Cargo Network Services Corporation (CNS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of IATA and services the US Market.
