Driving Air Cargo Digitalization: Asia Pacific ONE Record Workshop

On 19 October 2026, IATA hosted the Asia Pacific ONE Record Workshop in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together around 50 delegates from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Japan. Participants represented the broader air cargo community, including airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, airport operators, IT service providers and government agencies.

The workshop provided participants with an overview of air cargo digitalization and the ONE Record standard, as well as perspectives on digitalization readiness and strategy across Asia Pacific. The program combined ONE Record concept training with a live solution demonstration, giving delegates both a foundational understanding of the standard and practical insights into how ONE Record can enable more seamless and standardized data exchange across the cargo supply chain.

The workshop also featured an interactive industry panel discussion and expert Q&A, giving stakeholders a chance to exchange perspectives, explore implementation considerations, and discuss how the industry can collectively expand the ONE Record ecosystem.

The event reinforced the importance of collaboration across the entire cargo community as Asia Pacific continues its journey towards greater digitalization, interoperability and wider adoption of ONE Record.
