Accelerate@IATA, a travel tech startup accelerator program jointly run by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Plug and Play, has announced its seven airline partners and the three batches of startups in acceleration process in 2022.
This program, founded in July 2019, was originally focusing on airline retailing, where we had startups working on the New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative. From September 2020, Accelerate@IATA focused on the industry restart priorities due to the pandemic, including anticipating and stimulating demand, increasing passenger confidence, and exploring new technologies in digital health credentials and sustainability.
Currently, the program is addressing the Future of Interlining, Customer as the Reference with personalized offers and orders, and Digital Identity.
