In a dynamic collaboration, Accelerate@IATA and Fluid Labs have joined forces to engage with startups, addressing key priorities in the aviation industry. To introduce this exciting collaboration, a webinar took place, inviting startups and enthusiasts to learn more.
IATA and Fluid Labs are currently supporting the scouting of startups for the upcoming Segment 6 of the Accelerate@IATA program: New Partnerships for Offers and Orders. This segment refers to solutions that can provide additional value to travelers at the booking stage (such as insurance, inspiration, in-destination experiences, personalized offers, dynamic creation of bundled offers, etc.)
This virtual webinar also focused on Segment 7: Digital Payment Options, exploring ways to offer more payment choices to end users during the booking process. This could include alternative payment methods, payment orchestration, as well as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions with innovative models.
The Accelerate@IATA program's goal is to facilitate as many pilots as possible, so success would entail at least one pilot per airline per segment. A pilot would involve a controlled time-bound (1 – 6 months) deployment to assess the commercial viability of the partnership.
