New Secure Digital Award certificates
Since 1 February 2021, IATA certificates* are now issued as electronic Secure Digital Award (SDA) certificates. This is secured by blockchain technology, which guarantees the integrity of your certificate for life.

Do you want to verify a certificate with a QR code?
The QR code is located at the top right of the certificate.
Validate your certificate by scanning the QR code or uploading your original PDF certificate* using the green buttons below.
If using a smartphone we suggest that you use 'Scan QR code' for optimum results.
If using a laptop/PC we suggest that you use 'Upload document' for optimum results.
*Please use the original PDF file of your certificate (not a copy) for the validator to recognize your certificate.

Important: The IATA Training certificate validation tool will only recognize certificates:
- Issued in the past 5 years
- Where the exams were conducted in a supervised setting (in the classroom or supervised online). Please note that certificates issued for unsupervised online exams cannot be validated by IATA
- Where there are no outstanding fees to IATA

Please note: The IATA Training certificate validation tool cannot validate Diploma certificates (multi-course) including the Leadership and Management diploma.
