Enhance your understanding of the entire global logistics supply to support your compliance efforts regarding the Preloading Advance Cargo Information (PLACI). PLACI comprises regulatory requirements that are increasingly deployed by national customs and aviation security authorities in line with international standards set by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Identify the appropriate changes in business processes and the appropriate messaging standards (Cargo-XML) that will facilitate your company in adopting the new standards with optimum data quality.

Course format

• This classroom course provides 3 days (24 hours) of instruction delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
• Take this course at an IATA Training Center, Regional Training Partner, or on-demand as in-house training.
• Student performance will be based on an assessment.

Prerequisites

• Participants should have prior knowledge of air cargo procedures.
• Recommended level is Entry-level and Intermediate.
• The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.
