Purpose

Strategic Partners in this Area of Involvement can participate in the preparation of the future ecosystem and initiate dialogue on required industry actions. IATA has established an ad-hoc task force with representatives from the industry to map out the key challenges and opportunities that will drive industry strategy and action plan in the area of New Aircraft Technologies.

New Aircraft Technologies Strategic Partnerships Summary

Airlines are investing in new aircraft technologies (electric vertical take-off and landing eVTOL), Electric short Take-off and landing aircraft (eSTOL), supersonic, commercial space vehicles, single/remotely piloted aircraft) while legacy infrastructure and regulations continue to lag.
