It is incredible how quickly we are nearing the end of the year and what a year it has been! Since the start of 2023, we have welcomed over 60 new companies to the IATA Strategic Partnerships Program (SPP).
Among the range of benefits afforded to our valued Partners through marketing, discounts, and networking opportunities, over 250 SPP representatives took part in the most highly attended IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit (WATS) that took place earlier this year in June in Istanbul, Türkiye. In fact, close to 1,400 delegates, including 150 IATA member airline CEOs, 400-C-suite executives, as well as representatives from regional and international associations and organizations, alliances and the media contributed to, and benefitted from another successful event.
Throughout the year, we have also fine-tuned the value proposition of several of our over 30 areas of involvement by either merging them (“Digital Cargo” and “Interactive Cargo”) or by launching new ones (“Offers and Orders Transformation” and “Air Traffic Management / Communications Navigation Surveillance”). In addition to providing enhanced value to our AGM-level SPs, we have given the opportunity to Partners in the Sustainability area to attend the first-ever IATA World Sustainability Symposium. Looking ahead, we are also excited to be launching a new area focused on Data and Technology and have other exciting projects in mind for 2024!
Whether it is through the access to over 100 SPP meetings and events that took place this past year or through the other valuable benefits of the Program provided to our over 400 SPs, we are continuously looking for ways to improve the Program to enhance your business.
