ASL Airlines France becomes the latest IATA member in Europe

ASL Airlines France has a dual activity of passenger (including scheduled flights, leisure flights, incentive flights, and VIP flights) and cargo transportation, including, among others, 40 night flights for mail, parcels and express shipments. The business was built with the premise of delivering a flawless quality of service to its clients: carriers, postal and express freight operators, as well as tour operators. The airline serves the following destinations: Paris CDG, Bastia, Strasbourg, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (France), Algiers (Algeria), Oujda (Morocco), Belgrade (Serbia), Tel Aviv (Israel), Tunis (Tunisia).

Having achieved the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification in November and membership this month, the IATA and ASL France teams met at the airline’s headquarters located near Paris’ CDG Airport on December 19th. The IATA local office team—in charge of the France-Belgium-The Netherlands cluster—discussed a variety of subjects with ASL Airlines France´s CEO Jean-François Dominiak and the airline’s top management. Mr. Dominiak, in addition to his responsibilities at the airline, is the President of SCARA (Syndicat des Compagnies Aériennes Autonomes).

For Robert Chad, IATA’s Area Manager France-Belgium-The Netherlands, “We were delighted to welcome ASL Airline first as an IOSA member, and now as part of the IATA family. We will continue to work more closely with ASL to ensure that we deliver value on some of their key issues and priorities.”

Jean-François Dominiak, ASL Airlines France´s CEO, said: “Obtaining the IOSA certification was a key step in ASL Airlines France’s development strategy, allowing us to promote our ACMI flight offer to a greater number of airlines in the world. We share many values with IATA, among which the constant need to deliver a better quality of service to our customers, and a vision for a more sustainable and eco-friendly aviation industry. We are extremely satisfied about becoming members and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
