The IATA Digital Leadership Charter (DLC) has grown to 50 participating companies, reflecting strong industry momentum behind digital transformation across the air cargo value chain. Since launching in March 2024 with seven founding companies, participation in the Charter has grown sevenfold, demonstrating a shared commitment to collaboration, data-driven innovation, and industry-wide digitalization. Today, the Charter brings together a broad cross-section of airlines, freight forwarders, airports, ground handlers, and technology providers from around the world.
"As the Digital Leadership Charter reaches 50 participating companies, it is clear that industry momentum behind digital adoption continues to build. More organizations are recognizing that collaboration and shared standards are essential to creating a more connected, efficient, and data-driven cargo ecosystem," said Jonathan Parkinson. Head Cargo Digitalization, IATA.
Through the Charter, members are helping to shape and advance key industry priorities, including the global adoption of ONE Record, AI and data-driven initiatives, digital trust, and other collaborative efforts that support a more connected and digitally enabled air cargo industry. As the initiative matures, its focus is increasingly shifting from pilot projects to scaling ONE Record adoption across the industry, helping unlock the full value of a truly connected cargo ecosystem.
