On 25 March 2025,  approximately 130 delegates participated in the Dangerous Goods workshop held in Singapore. IATA, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and SAAA@Singapore co-organized the event.

Proper declaration, packaging, and labelling of Dangerous Goods (DG) ensures safety, compliance, and efficiency in handling hazardous materials. The workshop highlighted common mistakes and best practices, emphasizing the importance of a safety culture. It also discussed minor discrepancies in DG declarations that do not pose safety risks and introduced DG AutoCheck, a tool for automating and verifying DG declarations. These measures help prevent accidents, ensure legal compliance, and enhance the reputation and efficiency of companies handling DG.

Trevor Howard, chairman of the IATA Dangerous Goods Board (DGB), Ben Firkins, secretary of DGB, with several DGB members presented at the workshop.
