The Passenger Standards Conference Manual (PSCM), previously titled Passenger Services Conference Resolutions Manual, includes all resolutions and recommended practices that have been universally agreed upon by airlines to process passengers and baggage in the international interline environment.
It includes procedures for reservations, passenger and baggage check-in and ticket issuance, specifications for baggage tag and ticketing and various multilateral interline agreements and other passenger traffic-related regulations.
See table of contents (pdf).
The PSCM comes only via an electronic version of the manual to facilitate searching by use of key words and to reduce enviornmental impact of publishing.
PSCM Toolbox
In addition to the resolutions manual, you are also provided with a convenient toolbox containing several IATA EDIFACT implementation materials, specifically:
- IATA EDIFACT Message Standards Document (formerly PADIS Message Standards)
- IATA Airports and Reservations Implementation Guides
- IATA Codeset Directory
These guides outline the adopted and universally accepted components and messages as endorsed by the Architecture and Technology Strategy Board (formerly PADIS Board). These are essential documents when implementing IATA EDIFACT passenger and airport standards, as all technical criteria relating to EDI business requirements are included
