How Data Flows

Step 1: EDR values are calculated onboard aircraft.

Step 2: Data is transmitted from aircraft to ground and forwarded to IATA.

Step 3: IATA validates, stores and de-identifies data.

Step 5: Data is displayed through IATA, in-house tools, or Authorized Agents
