Learn how to interpret special fare conditions and provide alternatives to system pricing failures so you can offer the best deals that consider the accompanying ticket restrictions.

Course format

  • This classroom course provides 4 days (32hours) of instruction delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
  • Student performance will be based on an assessment.

Prerequisites

  • Participants ;must have completed the IATA Passenger Fares and Ticketing - Basic course and covered the core elements of the Mileage System Principle.
  • Recommended level is Intermediate.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 or the equivalent for courses held in languages other than English.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
