KLM hosted another successful edition of Wings of Change Europe, the region’s flagship aero political event, attracting industry leaders, Government officials, regulators, strategic partners, and more for constructive debates as well as agreements, signings, and the advancement of critical industry initiatives.

While the Netherlands’ Government’s announced its decision to cut flights at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport was suspended, the day and a half event tackled some of European aviation’s most prominent current issues, divided into a five-block agenda:
1. State of the Industry
2. Environmental Sustainability
3. Accessibility and Consumer Rights
5. The Future of Aviation (including Diversity)
Key highlights from the debates and discussions include:

In addition to the on-stage content, various industry meetings were organized, ceremonies such as the Safety Leadership Charter, officially welcoming new IATA members, but also a joint KLM and IATA press conference.

At the end of the first day, delegates were also able to partake in an emissions-free canal cruise and networking dinner at the Maritime Museum, hosted by KLM:
