5-day (40 hours) classroom course

IATA Aircraft Airworthiness and Air Carrier Certification  aviation training course

Understand the ICAO Standards and Regulatory Procedures (SARPs), regulations (JARs, FARs) and requirements relating to aircraft certification and continuing airworthiness, and learn how to apply these processes in your organization. Master the processes involved in obtaining and holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC): relevant documentation; elements of a maintenance program; manuals, logs and records. Know the processes relevant to Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMO) including Quality Assurance and building a Training Program.

Prerequisites

  • Recommended level is Intermediate and Advanced.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
