5-day (40 hours) classroom course
Airport charges play a critical role in the financial sustainability of airports and the relationship between airports, airlines, and regulators. Operating within a structured regulatory framework, charge setting and consultation require a clear understanding of costs, investments, service levels, and stakeholder expectations. This course provides aviation professionals with a practical, structured understanding of airport charges as they are applied in real operational and regulatory environments. You will learn how airport charges are constructed using ICAO principles, how key cost and investment drivers influence outcomes, and how different ownership and regulatory models shape decision‑making. Emphasis is placed on interpretation, analysis, and consultation readiness, enabling you to engage more effectively in discussions, challenge assumptions with confidence, and support informed organizational decisions.
