IATA Crew Resource Management for Instructors aviation training course

This hands-on train-the-trainer course is designed to help you enhance your Crew Resource Management (CRM) instruction by refining your teaching approach. You'll explore practical techniques for planning lessons, engaging adult learners, and assessing student performance in meaningful ways. Throughout the course, you'll have multiple opportunities to lead short training sessions and receive constructive, real-time feedback from both an experienced instructor and your peers. Course format

Prerequisites

  • Participants require minimum 2 years of operational training experience or a recognized Train-the-Trainer or Instructional Design certificate.
  • Participants should have prior knowledge of
    Crew Resources Management or Human Factors.
  • Recommended level is Intermediate and Advanced.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
