You’ll also gain practical insights into live animal shipping, including the use of the IATA Live Animals Regulations (LAR), and learn how Human Remains must be shipped. The program also covers the transportation of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, providing critical knowledge on the packaging, storage, and handling of time- and temperature-sensitive shipments in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS) applicable to both the healthcare and air cargo sectors. A passing mark is required on all assignments and exams. A special distinction is awarded to candidates who obtain a distinction in all, or all but one, of all course exams and assignments that make up this Diploma.
Please note: We have recently revised the structure of this diploma to better align with current industry needs and standards. As part of this update, the elective courses have been removed from the program. If you have already completed any of these previously eligible elective courses, they will still be recognized toward your diploma requirements until 1 June 2028.
