3-day (15 hours) LIVE virtual classroom course

The IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) program has been developed to improve the safety of ground operations and reduce ground damage and injuries. This course covers the audit process specific for auditing the Organization & Management (ORM) discipline on an ISAGO audit. Through the analysis of the GOSARPs in the SAGO Standards Manual (GOSM), the course will enable the user to understand the elements needed in any organization management system and how they conform within the ISAGO audit.

Course format

• The live sessions of this virtual classroom course are delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
• The course will take you approximately 15 hours to complete and be held over 3 consecutive days.
• There will be 4 live interactive virtual classroom sessions per day, each session will be 75 minutes.
• The live sessions will require your participation, with multiple Q&A sessions and additional time spent on self-study material including projects, research, additional reading and videos.
• Student performance will be based on an assessment.

Prerequisites

• Recommended level is Advanced.
• The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

• Describe associated requirements to the GOSARP (including international, regional and local regulations, customer airlines requirements)
• Illustrate the difference between the GOSARP requirements for STN/CTN/MHQ
• Define the scope of the GSP’s operations in the target discipline
• Define the timeline of an audit in the target discipline
• Distinguish what can be directly observed from what can be only inferred in auditing in the target discipline
• Describe interaction with other processes and other organizations

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on an assessment. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
