Learn how to login for your Online Exam with Remote Supervision (OERS)

🖥️ Getting Set Up with ProctorU Chat Application
- Download the Proctor Chat application.
- Click Next to install and run it.
- A popup will ask you to install the LogMeIn extension — click Save.
- This will open the ProctorU chat box automatically.
- Click Allow Access to LogMeIn Rescue.
- Click OK to give the proctor temporary control of your computer.
- Click Next to agree to the terms and conditions.
🎥 Setting Up for the Exam
- Choose your webcam, microphone, and select your entire screen.
- Click Begin Recording and continue.
- Your proctor will explain any permitted resources for your exam.
- Click Next to continue.
- View any accommodations you've been granted, then click Next again.
- Take a photo of your face (align it within the grid) and click Take Photo.
- System will validate your image.
- Take a photo of your government-issued ID.
🧑💻 Starting the Exam
- Wait while a proctor connects.
- Final screen will show full exam instructions — read them carefully.
- When ready, click Start Exam to begin — the timer starts here.
🛠️ Exam Tools Overview
- Toolbar features include:
- Bookmark icon – mark questions to return to.
- "i" icon – view allowed resources (if any).
- Notebook – jot down ideas or notes.
- Calculator – use for calculations (if enabled).
- Clock icon – show or hide remaining time.
✅ Finishing the Exam
- When done, open the chat box and inform your proctor that you're finished.
