Paris, a legendary city, is a true source of international inspiration for many artists, In addition to its impressive historical heritage, the City of Light is also a vibrant capital of the 21st century, with its numerous exhibitions, its modern gastronomy, and its lively terraces and stores.

At the heart of Europe, Paris is easily accessible thanks to its two international airports: Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Paris Orly, which connect the French capital to over 557 cities in 132 countries. Aéroports de Paris receives more than 14,000 flights per week.

Paris is at the heart of a dense and efficient rail network, open to the major European cities (London, Barcelona, Milan, Vienna, Berlin, Stockholm...), thanks to the TGV, Thalys, Lyria, and Eurostar connections.

Palais Brongniart

The IGHC 2022 will take place in the Palais Brongniart, a landmark monument in Paris built by the architect Brongniart at the instigation of Napoleon Bonaparte. By laying the foundation stone in 1808, the Emperor wanted to bring all stock exchange activities together in one place, a real innovation at the time in order to optimize the existing system.

Officially opened in 1826, the site will indeed be the lung of 19th-century financial activity, promoting the expansion of railways, steelmaking and major industrial adventures, until 1998, when the stock exchange closed at the Palais Brongniart. Today, Palais Brongniart is one of the leading congress and event centers in Paris, with a philosophy of action based on economic, social and solidarity innovation.
