IATA Standardization for CBTA Course Developers – Pilot Training aviation training course

IATA’s Standardization for CBTA Course Developers - Pilot Training is a 5-day course that will equip you to design and develop CBTA courses for pilot training in compliance with ICAO provisions and IATA best practices. You will acquire an adequate level of knowledge of pilot and instructor/evaluator competencies and their associated performance criteria. You will develop expertise on how CBTA programs are designed, applying the Instructional System Design promoted by ICAO, the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). The course will allow you to practice each component of the ADDIE model in depth. By the end of this course, you will be able to produce training specifications, define adapted competency models, and design training and assessment plans.

Prerequisites

  • Recommended level is Intermediate.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 or the equivalent for courses held in languages other than English.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on an assessment. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
