Aviation Day Colombia - 27 Nov 2018

IATA & ALTA have joined forces to host an Aviation Day for Colombia. The goal of the event is to bring together industry experts, senior airline and airport executives, and government authorities to discuss aviation’s largest opportunities and key challenges across the Caribbean region. Americas ISSA Awareness Workshop - 25 & 26 Feb 2019

The IATA Standard Safety Assessment (ISSA) is a voluntary evaluation program, produced at the request of the industry, to extend the benefits of operational safety and efficiency that stems from the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program, with a focus on operators of smaller aircraft that are not eligible for the IOSA program. This ISSA awareness workshop is aimed at providing details on the program, scope and eligibility criteria for ISSA and resources available to support program implementation. Aviation Day Central America - 19 Sep 2018

IATA, ALTA & ALA have joined forces to host an Aviation Day for Central America in San Jose - Costa Rica. The goal of the event is to bring together industry experts, senior airline and airport executives, and government authorities to discuss aviation’s largest opportunities and key challenges across the Caribbean region. Aviation Day Caribbean - 29 Jun 2018

IATA, ALTA & The Caribbean Development Bank have joined forces to host an Aviation Day for the Caribbean in Barbados. The goal of the event is to bring together industry experts, senior airline and airport executives, and government authorities to discuss aviation’s largest opportunities and key challenges across the Caribbean region. Aviation Day Peru - 20 Sep 2017

Organized in collaboration with IATA, AETAI and ALTA, the Aviation Day Peru was held on 28 September 2017, in ​Lima, Peru. The focus was on aviation as Peru's economic engine of growth, including infrastructure and cost challenges in this dynamic market. Senior management across the aviation industry and government officials debated these key issues with the goal of identifying some clear action items moving forward. ​Presentations from this event, all in Spanish are available at our Aviation Day Peru site.
