The 93rd IATA Aviation Energy Forum (AEF) will take place in Guangzhou, China (People’s Republic of), from 10–12 November 2026, bringing together airline representatives, fuel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) suppliers, and IATA Strategic Partners to address the most pressing priorities and challenges facing aviation fuel today.
The AEF provides an important forum for key industry stakeholders to discuss commercial, technical, and sustainability challenges facing aviation, including the actions needed to support the industry's net zero ambitions.

AEF also provides a valuable setting for dialogue and bilateral engagement between airlines and suppliers. By co-locating the IATA Commercial Fuel Group and Technical Fuel Group meetings, the event supports coordination and collaboration on shared priorities across safety, efficiency, sustainability, and the future of aviation energy.
Who Can Attend?
Participation in the AEF is exclusively open to IATA Member Airlines and IATA Strategic Partners involved in the Fuel Services and Technical Fuel Areas of the Strategic Partnerships Program.
For Strategic Partners active in the Fuel Areas, AEF provides an opportunity to connect directly with airline representatives and industry stakeholders, exchange expertise, and engage in discussions shaping the future of aviation energy.
Strategic Partners may also have opportunities to increase their visibility through event sponsorship. Sponsorship provides an additional platform to showcase expertise, strengthen brand presence, and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders from across the aviation fuel value chain.
Get Involved
Companies active in aviation fuels and lubricants, refueling equipment and metering solutions, SAF production and technology, microbiological solutions, fuel infrastructure and logistics, or carbon removal technologies may be eligible to join the Strategic Partnerships Program and gain access to the AEF.
