IATA’s Environmental Sustainability Practitioner diploma program helps strengthen your knowledge of environmental sustainability by diving deeper into specific areas of sustainability in aviation. You will learn through a hands-on course how to implement better policies, create business cases that support your company’s environmental sustainability strategy, facilitate teamwork across the company on sustainability matters. The elective courses offer you the possibility to discover other important elements ranging from waste management, carbon markets, fuel efficiency or sustainable airport operations.

Upon completion of this diploma, you will be able to:
- Develop robust plans to address the most significant environmental aspects facing the aviation industry
- Analyze various measures your company can implement on its way to environmental sustainability
- Identify new risks, potential significant impacts and existing environmental initiatives and their integration into an environmental management system (EMS)
- Create a roadmap
