About the course
3-day (12 hours) LIVE virtual classroom course

This course will allow you to get an insider’s view of the air transportation system. You will gain insights in aviation-related businesses and organizations and understand their role and function in the air transportation system. The course will also provide you with knowledge to polish your management and presentation skills while working with experienced instructors and class peers on course integration exercises.

Course format
- The live sessions of this virtual classroom course are delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
- The course will take you approximately 12 hours to complete and be held over 3 consecutive days.
- There will be 2 live interactive virtual classroom sessions per day, each session will be 120 minutes.
- The live sessions will require your participation, with multiple Q&A sessions and additional time spent on self-study material including projects, research, additional reading and videos.
- Student performance will be based on an assessment.

Prerequisites
- Participants will be required to complete the IATA Overview of the Air Transportation System e-learning module. It will take you approximately 3 hours to complete the module. Access will be provided through your IATA
student portal 1 week prior to the course and should be completed prior to the
course start. Please note that this is included in the price of the Air
Transportation Management course.
- Recommended level is Entry-level and Intermediate.
- The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

Certificate awarded
An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
