IATA CBTA Train the Trainer - Pilots aviation training course

The IATA CBTA Train the Trainer for Pilots course is designed to equip you, as a standardizer, with the competencies necessary to effectively train and assess pilot instructors within the competency-framework, as defined by ICAO. You will explore the evolution of CBTA, its distinction from traditional training, and the integration of competencies within the Threat and Error Management (TEM) framework. The course focuses on the Instructor/ Evaluator Competencies (IECs) and the use of tools, such as the IEC Assessment Evidence Guide to ensure accurate and objective assessments. Through scenario-based exercises, you will assess the performance of pilot and instructor/evaluator and develop techniques to support pilot resilience and understand the concept of facilitation and how to apply it in the CBTA briefings and debriefings.
