IATA’s Environmental Sustainability Champion diploma is a blend of courses to help you to start on your road to environmental sustainability. These courses will help you gain a full understanding of the challenges that aviation is facing, ranging from carbon emissions, noise, local air quality, and the public perception of aviation and greenwashing. Our trained instructors will help you identify a set of measures you can implement to achieve short, medium and long-term benefits from a social and environmental perspective while being conscious of financial sustainability.

Upon completion of this diploma, you will be able to:
- Describe the main environmental challenges facing aviation
- Identify strategies to tackle various environmental risks
- Explain climate change and the global impact of air transport
- Analyze and describe airlines’ initiatives, set to address the misperception
This diploma is recommended for:

- To begin working toward your diploma, go to each required and elective course page and register individually. You must complete all selected courses to be eligible for the diploma.
- This diploma program consists of 3 required courses and 1 elective course of your choice, all of which must be completed within 2 years.
