IATA Airline Business Models and Competitive Strategies aviation training course

Sharpen your management skills and apply newly acquired knowledge in a real market conditions-based simulation game vying for market share and profitability against fellow professionals from the industry! This 5-day course will help you upgrade your management skills and strategic thinking. You will be able to run your own airline and decide on fleet, network, schedule, pricing and product marketing. IATA’s pioneering simulation program can be adapted to various market scenarios and gives you the opportunity to test your strategic ideas in a risk-free test environment with several sessions where strategy adjustments can be made. Performance reports to show the impact of your strategic business choices and provide input for your next strategic decisions in the game, and potentially real life! The course provides short lectures with more time spent on devising and testing business strategies. Using customized case studies and exercises, you will create scenarios such as airline start-ups, growth, consolidation and mergers. Your objective is simple, be the most profitable airline!

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
