About the course

4-day (16 hours) LIVE virtual classroom course

IATA ISAGO for Ground Service Providers aviation training course

The ISAGO Program supports Ground Handling Service Providers (GHSPs) in establishing safe, standardized, and consistently managed ground operations based on industry standards and best practices, including AHM, IGOM, and ICHM. IATA’s ISAGO for Ground Handling Service Providers course develops the knowledge required to manage ground operations as an integrated system where front-line activities are supported by effective management processes, safety management, competency-based training, operational oversight, documentation control, and continuous improvement. Built around the ISAGO framework and IATA industry standards, the course focuses on how organizations translate standards into operational procedures, controls, and day-to-day practices that deliver safe and standardized operations. Rather than focusing solely on audit preparation, it emphasizes the effective implementation and sustained application of industry standards throughout the organization. You will explore the key elements of a ground handling organization, from corporate governance and management responsibilities to station-level operational delivery. The course also explains how ISAGO evaluates these arrangements through Documentation Assessments and Implementation Assessments, enabling you to understand how conformity is demonstrated through normal operational systems, records, and performance. By the end of the course, you will be able to use industry standards and the ISAGO framework as practical tools to support safer, more standardized, and continuously improving ground operations.
